🇮🇹 Rome, Italy

Rome is the Eternal City, Italy's capital with 3,000 years of history. The Colosseum, Vatican, Trastevere, Imperial Forums and Trevi Fountain merge with a food scene spanning authentic carbonara to family-run trattorias in the Castelli Romani.

📅 Best time to visit

Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November): mild temperatures, fewer crowds and better prices. July–August is hot and busy but vibrant. December is magical for Christmas atmosphere.

🌤 Climate

Rome has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers (28–32°C, July–August) and mild, rainy winters (8–14°C). Spring and autumn offer ideal temperatures of 15–22°C.

🏨 Where to stay

The Historic Centre (Pantheon, Navona) is the most sought-after but priciest area. Trastevere offers authentic stays. Prati, near the Vatican, has quality hotels at lower prices. Termini is affordable with great metro connections.
