🇩🇪 Monaco, Germania
Munich is the capital of Bavaria, a city combining Bavarian tradition, high culture and modernity. The flight from Naples takes around 2h 40min with Lufthansa and easyJet (7 times/week). Nymphenburg Palace, the world-class museums (Deutsches Museum, Pinakothek), the Englischer Garten (larger than Central Park), the historic Marienplatz and Oktoberfest make Munich one of Germany's most beloved cities.
📅 Best time to visit
May–June and September–November are the best periods: mild climate (14–22°C) and rich cultural life. Oktoberfest (late September–early October) is the most famous event. Summer is warm (24–28°C). December is magical with Christmas markets. Winter enables Alpine skiing day trips.
🌤 Clima
Munich has a continental Alpine climate with warm summers (22–28°C in July) and cold winters (-3–3°C in January). Rainfall is abundant in summer. Snow is frequent November–March. The Foehn (warm Alpine wind) can bring exceptionally warm days in autumn/spring.
🏨 Where to stay
The Zentrum (near Marienplatz) is most convenient but expensive. Schwabing is the student and bohemian neighbourhood. Maxvorstadt is the museum district (Pinakotheken). Haidhausen and Au-Haidhausen are vibrant and cheaper.
